Description

We have been having severe water problems for more than a week at Wisconsin House on 2712 Wisconsin Ave NW. We live on the 9th floor and have not been having a drop of water the past 2 days. The lower floors, particularly (1-5), seem to have some water as it takes less pressure to get water to these floors. Since the night of December 7th, we do not have water to drink, to cook, to do our dishes, or to even use the restroom. The situation is just TERRIBLE to think about.
I had called DC WASA last morning (12/8/10) before leaving to work and was told that it was due to a break and that everything will be fine at or shortly after 12 P.M. So I called my manager at work telling him of our water problem and asked his permission to be at work at 1:00 PM. I was home after 1:00 PM and still there was no water - absolutely not a drop of water. So I had to miss work yesterday on account of that. Our dishes our piled up in the kitchen sink, we have not been able to have a shower in two days, and I don't even want to talk about our restroom situation.
The building management (FAS Management, 202.337.5080) has called WASA on many occasions to no avail. When we call the building management, we're informed that it's not their problem and that there's not much they can do other than continue to talk to WASA. That really doesn't solve the problem.
12/9/10 - I woke up at 5:30 this morning and it's now past 6:00 , and yet not a drop of water. I guess WASA hasn't been taking this seriously as they are not the ones without any water for 3 days.

SOMEBODY PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO FIX THIS PROBLEM.
