Macomb Township has this issue on it's next board meeting agenda. They're looking into cost-sharing to make this happen.
The Road Commission has already obtained federal funding and scheduled construction to widen Hayes from 21-1/2 Mile to 23 Mile for 2012. gets very congested with the long lines and people trying to cut in.
This issue cannot be closed until the raod construction is complete. That is when we can say the problem is fixed. Just by having plans on paper or in the agenda does not mean the issue is fixed.
