Description
The morning and evening commute down the small 2 lane Eastfield road was supposed to receive a much needed stop light, turn lane and intersection simplification to ease congestion caused by commuters trying to cross from Asbury Chapel to Brown Rd and intersecting with school carpools which is known to back up traffic to Prosperity Church rd and beyond. The project was "started" in May 2010 just prior to the end of school by creating a new intersection at Asbury Chapel. The Unfinished intersection has sat with cones and a non-working light for months now, causing even worse confusion as motorists approaching the intersection will often stop twice trying to determine where to stop... there's no indication when or if this eye sore of a project will be completed or what if any reason there is for the delay. Weeks will go by with no workers present or work being done.
