Description
Drivers ignore the stop sign on Rockwell @ Glenlake and/or break speed limit at dangerous levels in front of church. Elderly citizens cross the street frequently, many small children live in the block, and I have personally almost been hit twice. Accidents have occurred at this location as a result of speeding. Street is used as a shortcut to get to Peterson.

we need to slow down the heavy traffic on Rockwell just north of peterson. Drivers race to make the traffic light.

I sent an email to alderman Stone over two years ago about needing a speed bump put at this same location, just after Glenlake on Rockwell in front of that church, because people run the stop sign every day and drive like maniacs to get to the stop light. Then there were two bad accidents right at that intersection. One wreck happened because someone on Glenlake took the corner going something like 65 and didn't make the corner, and totaled a parked car. Alderman Stone never responded to my concerned email. He won't be getting my vote.
