The asphalt on Canal at the intersection of Clinton River is very poor. The greatest impact seems to be for drivers turning from eastbound Canal Rd. onto southbound Clinton River Rd. This cobblestone-like surface is dangerous for braking and turning due to reduced handling and surface contact. This area is very busy with people turning in both directions during rush hour, and the ability to stop or turn properly is necessary for drivers' safety.
