I agree I just got used to going on the highway but this is such a better road, its sad how long its taking them the Q-Bridge has been showing more success then state St,
East Rock Management Team meetings every last Monday of the month, contact the alders Jessica and Justin for details. Issues like these are discussed at every meeting. As far as the latest estimate it now has been moved to this time next year. There is still a lot of contamination under where the supports are going and they have to be especially careful not to upset the three crossing structures (I 91) above. It is an understandable yet unfortunate turn of events, but work is continuing.
The cost of this project has more than doubled and it is now going on FOUR YEARS, since the beginning of construction. Anyone wonder why CT is going broke, and the the contractors who are in bed with the CT DOT are all rich? This project is like a miniature version of the I84, CT DOT crony corruption, mis-management game.
