I have no heat in my apt. all night long. I occasionally have heat 6am-7am and that's it. I've called 311 for the past year, with no results. They told me I could take time off from work and sue the landlord. Are they kidding?

Hi Andrea,
I spoke to Joe at Terrace Realty. He said he will look into the problem, adjust heat sensors or replace radiator valves to restore your heat.
Thanks for posting,
Penny

Hi Penny,
I don't even know about anyone named Joe at Terrace Realty. Whenever I've called I've been told that I must speak to David and he's never there, so I leave voice mails, or I call his cell and leave messages. Last night was the same, no heat, and this morning I had the usual 6am heat. Thank you for your help so far.

If Terrace Realty hasn't restored your heat yet, please pressure them by calling your City Council member for help.

Hi,
My heat issue has been resolved! Apparently, there's a new agent in the landlord's office, and ever since I left him a voice mail appealing to him to turn the heat on, my apt. has been sufficiently warm! Perhaps it was the previous agent rather than the landlord who was the problem. Thank you for your help.
