I apologize for the war zone comment. I did not intend to compare to any actual combat areas where lives are being lost. It is just frustrating that there are many victims of theft in this area. My convertible top has been slashed twice in the past two years. The details on the family at Peppercorns occurred before 10 pm, nothing on seats or in view. In the end, nothing was stolen. It was attempted robbery.

I am sure that is frustrating about your car -any ideas what can be done? Can u park in the lot or doesnt make a difference? Our doormen from the linden walk around every hour but maybe doesnt matter? I always wonder if people know their routine - have you talked to the community officer ? Keep posting!

I always report my incidents to the police and i appeared on the news last time. No great suggestions other than fix the reported street lights (I reported one on Capitol at this location over a month ago), more private surveillance cameras, frequent police patrols, and neighborhood vigilance.
