Just wondering what you would be monitoring seeing as the sidewalk is almost completely blocked. How much more does the hedge need to grow over the sidewalk for Public Works to think it is an issue? If this is a blight issue and not a Public Works issue, can you forward it to the appropriate contact please. Thanks.
The city is too lazy to knock on the door or send a letter asking the owners to trim the hedges. The person who reviewed your complaint probably goes home to the suburbs and doesn't have to deal with it. You can bet you bottom dollar that he would care if he lived in the neighborhood.
I don't think this forum should be used to bash municipal employees. It's easy to do that when you cannot see them and will never have to see them. That's not what I got on here for. I don't know the circumstances of the decision and neither do you Edgewood Eyes. Something should be done with the hedges and abuse of municipal employees isn't the way to get there....won't you agree Edgewood Eyes?
