Accidents nearly daily? I used to commute through that intersection and also never saw an accident. A sign is a good idea. Changing the light to a red turn signal would just cause a huge backup on 320.

I was broadsided at this intersection turning left from 320 to 252. My car rolled and I could have been seriously hurt, but I wasn't. The person whom hit me was in the right lane comming down 320 and was in the lane where you can yield right. He switched lanes at the last minute and hit me. There needs to be a better way to opperate this intersention where there is no confusion on where people are turning and when. Maybe like only one lane can go straight through the intersection? The lanes merge 200 yards after the intersection anyway!

I think there is a lot of confusion about who has the right-of-way between the cars turning left (without the turn arrow) and oncoming cars turning right onto northbound 252. Many drivers seem to think that the "yield" sign for the cars turning right applies all the time, but I'm not sure that is true.

The intersection is confusing even for those who have lived here for years. I have seen nasty accidents here. I have been close to accidents myself. I have sat waiting for a safe turn onto 252 on full green, only to have those behind me lay on their horns because they think the oncoming traffic has a red when it doesn't. I have seen oncoming cars hesitate on full greens, not understanding the patterns, causing turning cars to think they have the right of way and pull out into oncoming traffic. It's nuts.

I just got into an accident there two nights ago (October 3rd) and the officer said to me "Nobody's at fault" because of the traffic light "there's always accidents there".. Accidents dont just happen, its someones fault. It seems like the states fault if you ask me, that should have been fixed a long time ago. But still they continue to let this traffi ligt cause accidents

The left hand turn signal has improved this intersection immensely, although I have seen more than one person ignore the arrow!
