As reported by Justin Elicker at the East Rock Community Management Team meeting on Monday, the bridge will hopefully be reopened this time next year. The DOT is continuing to run into problems with remediation of toxic issues on the site. They also have to drive the piles for the new bridge very carefully so as not to disturb the piles for the I91 bridge that is right overhead.
Since the following SCF post has the most updated information regarding the CT DOT State St. Bridge Project, this issue will be closed. Please refer to this SCF post: http://seeclickfix.com/issues/672845 Thank You.
