This part of D Drive North (between 9 Mile Road and 11 Mile Road) still has not been completely fixed. I was down this road yesterday and a "few" of the potholes from 9 Mile road were fixed, but the other end by 11 Mile Road and the rest of D Drive North is NOT FIXED.
The potholes on D Drive North between Beadle Lake Road and 6 1/2 Mile Road were fixed yesterday. Thank you!
Agree with Betty Halverson's comments. D Drive North Between 9 and 11 mile is a mess. I about lost it on a motorcycle today. It is hard to distinguish between pothole and patches when you are traversing the road even at a very slow speed. If it is dark or if it has been raining there is no hope of avoiding potholes. Moving into the other lane to avoid hole puts one at risk due to oncoming traffic. Some of the road near 9900 has degraded the point where patching last only a few days. It needs some serious attention
This road is a ridiculous mess and has been for too long! It was featured in the Enquirer over a year ago for the disrepair. Still a dangerous and still not fixed!
NO!!!!! These tremendously HUGE potholes HAVE NOT been fixed. In fact, someone has spray painted around some of the MAJOR ones. What portion of our property taxes go to roads so everyone can deduct this amount from their payment because it is apparent the roads are not being maintained. The roads in calhoun country are the worst in the state.
Some of the potholes have been fixed, but they have not been fixed between 11 Mile Road and Rivers Edge Way -- this is a MESS and is even more so since Enbridge trucks have been driving on this section of D Drive N. for over 1 year.
This stretch of road is the WORST in Calhoun County. There is no possible way to dodge the potholes, and they are VERY deep. Same for D Drive N between Beadle Lake Road and 6 1/2 Mile Road. PLEASE, PLEASE REPAVE THESE TWO AREAS -- THERE IS NO WAY THEY CAN BE "FIXED". April 26, 2013.
Yes, FINALLY, after 3 years, some of the potholes have been fixed. However, I urge you to drive down D Drive North between 11 Mile and 9 Mile -- what really needs to happen is to REPLACE the current "road" with new blacktop.
