So what happens with the extremely bad section of road between Adams and Potomac for the next 3 years? There are going to be accidents caused by this poor section of hundreds of patched pot holes on a heavily travelled section of road. We seem to have money available to do landscaping in the middle of the roundabout at Hamlin and Livernois which will only hinder visibility.

Looks like they realized the repairs needed to be handled earlier than 3 years from now as they almost solved the problem. The road was ground down and a new overlay of asphalt was placed. They almost got it right as they put down a pretty lengthy patched but stopped about 4 ft short and left a bad patch of pothole repairs right near the end of the overlay just before Potomac rd.
The overlay was not done all that well as it is not all that smooth. But, it is far better than it was. At least it's nice for the time being until those last 4 feet of pot hole repairs start popping out this winter and spring. Too bad nobody checked to make sure the contractors were doing a good job.

Still no plan and no response from RCOC for Tienken between Adams and Livernois. The road is a disaster. I've been watching one particular pot hole for over 2 weeks that is a foot deep, about 18 in wide and at least 3 feet long. No repair. Cars have to wait for clearing in oncoming traffic so they can cross the center line to get around it.
