CAN THESE BUSES ONLY HAVE A SIGNED BUS STOPS.OTHER THEN PICKING UP AND LETTING OFF PASSENGERS IN THE MIDDLE OF TWO WAY CAUSING UNSAFE STOPPING FOR TRAFFIC AND PASSENGERS GETTING ON AND OFF THE BUS. YOU CAN'T GET AROUND THEM WHEN THEY STOP, THEN THEY GO ANOTHER 30 YARDS TO THE NEXT BUS STOP. I THINK THE BUS SERVICE IS GOOD FOR SARATOGA BUT ONLY IF THEY CAN PULL UP TO BUS STOPS,NOT THE MIDDLE OF STREETS.

The vast majority of riders get on and off at designated stops. Passengers can pull the 'stop request' cord at any point, but the bus will only stop at the next designated stop. The exception to this is if the bus comes to a stop sign or red light. If someone wants off the bus at this point, they will be allowed to disboard.
Riders are supposed to wait at a designated stop, but sometimes buses run early. If that is the case the person may flag the bus down if they are on the way to a stop. This isn't a matter for the city. I would suggest you contact CDTA if you want them to change their regulations regarding boarding and disboarding.
