Description
07/18/2013 On the relatively recently repaired Manayunk Canal path, there are ruts on the “hump” for upper lock (#68). This is a danger to cyclists, runners, and walkers. Also, drainage issues continue on the upper side.
This section should have been paved with blacktop similar to the sections around the bridges.
Also, there are ruts and washouts on the older section of the canal path between Cotton Street and Lock Street.
Vegetation is overgrowing much of the canal path – why doesn’t the crew that mows one foot along the edges cut back the vegetation?
Another nearby SeeClickFix issue, “Concrete barricade blocking bike path” continues to be unaddressed by Philly Parks and Recreation. Are they waiting for a lawsuit?
