if you dont know of anyone who has received a ticket then where is this coming from??

i got a parking ticket for parking in the center of town in that lot by half moon overnight friday until about saturday morning at 11:00 (so three hours of restricted time from 8:00-11:00). The ticket was only for $10, pretty reasonable, so i don't think the town is trying to really generate revenue from this, just keep the spots open for businesses like the previous poster noted.
