Description

Property is in a bad state and the main house is abandoned. There is a occupant in the basement that has had an illegal power connection for several years. In winter, the occupant uses a portable propane tank to heat the building. This is the third complaint to the city.
The back part of the house facing the alley is slowly decaying and falling apart. The yard is overgrown and the rats are nesting and breeding. The back yard is used to store building materials.
The owner is using the address for a business and storage, lives outside the District of Columbia. I am requesting a inspection by the District, specially from the back of the property where the deck structure is falling apart.
