I agree fully it takes so long to pull out on to E.Little Back River Road during rush hour times and when the games on Saturday let out of the park down the road it is crazy!!!

I fully agree that trying to access E Little Back Road from the many side streets (Forrest) is a nightmare during weekday A.M. and on Saturdays when the ball games let out at the park. All because the opposite side of the street did not like everyone cutting through to go to Langley. Maybe the light can be reprogramed to allow for a longer period of time to move the traffic through.

The reason those streets got blocked off is because people driving to Langley were using them as a shortcut. And now and then you get someone that doesn't care of there are little kids around that flies through at 40 mph because they are late to work.

Now that those streets are blocked off there is a tremendous increase in traffic on Forrest Street and they are flying down that street as well for whatever reason.

i wonder if roger works for the city and or state in some way because traffic patterns and speed limit violaters are not limited to only that area as a direct result of langley. however why should it be appropiate to give one set of streets and or residents special treatment when we all pay taxes and want the same priveleges for our area.closing those streets has not helped the problem it has merely moved the problem from those streets to others. i just feel that the city, vdot or whoever should have given more thought as to the end result when taking steps to remedy only one persons issue at the expense of many, many others. i would love for vdot to do a traffic study on both king st between the light at little back river and langley afb gate and compre that with the study on little back river rd at forrest st during the peak commute hours and see the mess that this has created.

No I don't work for the city or state. I was riding with a friend and mentioned the blocked off streets and he explained why they did it. The reason I mentioned that is because a little further up the road I have the same thing, cars racing past my house at 40 mph.

don't know if there is any solution;even if they reopened the blocked areas; E.L.Bk.Rvr Rd is a winding nightmare. Volume
perhps increse as folks return to cut thru to access Fox Hill.
Block of all cut thrus at some site on way to fox hill hard on redidents and large city service trucks to turn around, or have to back down rds, or get smaller trucks w/ more men to get bulk trash etc. Widen road folks loose property, drop speed limit below 25 new set of problems.

Move ball games higher costs to participants to fund employye services to clean-up/maintain sites distributed all about city rather than park and few auxillary areas.

King St gate for past month - oh happy days. Not such a huge nuisance twice a day.
