Description
I live at 122 Chestnut Street, on the 4th floor, adjacent to Mad River Bar and Grill (2 floors above the bar, next door). Their music is consistently at a noise level far exceeding statutory levels, as the music enters my condominium through the walls until 2 am, nightly. In addition, there have been numerous fights occuring both inside and outside the bar, in front of the entrance to my building. These have been captured by video and are even posted on youtube (2 in the last week alone). The level of intoxication of the bars patrons is a great concern to local residents, as it is a safety concern, as well as a property concern--numerous times the glass entrance doors to our building have been shattered. Please help.

For loud noise from neighborhood bars the Public Nuisance Task Force in the District Attorney’s Office should be called (215-686-5841). Do NOT call them about noise from other sources.
If there is a pattern of loud noise, like a band that practices late every Thursday night, you can contact the Police Community Relations Officer at your local police district. Thank you. (mb)
