STILL not fixed...it is almost November and soon, the water will freeze in this huge hole on the corner of Ashby and Academy creating even more problems! The big orange cone does not fix the problem. We have witnessed several flat tires, damaged cars and accidents and neither Darby Twp. or Glenolden will do anything. They have identified the cause of the issue and the house that is causing it, yet those people have yet to be fined and they still continually allow their sump to dump into the street. They have told Darby Twp they refuse to stop, so Darby refuses to fill the hole again. It is ridiculous. I don't know what has to happen before something is done. Does the corner house have to lose it's lawn to a huge sink hole before this gets addressed?! In the meantime, it is creating other smaller potholes all along Academy to the corner. Couple this with people who drive WAY too fast in this area and someday soon there with be a MAJOR accident!
