Description
Residents of 120-126 Market St. & 10 Letitia among others are awakened several times a week by the jarring sound of bottles being dumped and trash being collected in the early morning hours in the alley that runs behind 120-126 Market and next to 10 Letitia.
Philadelphia Bar & Restaurant dumps bottles between 2-3:30am (mostly on weekends) and the Residential Building 10 Letitia has trash & recycling collected several times a week between 4-5am.
With this type of disturbing activity occurring at all hours of the evening/morning, it is almost impossible to get a good night's sleep.

I also live in this area and these sounds can be really disrupting.
I've had a few conversations with the building manager at 10 Letitia and she is very willing to help correct the problem. She is working to get the trash collection times changed so they do not occur before 7am.
As for bottle dumping, I think it has been better these days – but on rare occasions I do hear it occur in the alley.

UPDATE: There have been no disturbances since this post that can be suspected of either PBR or Drinker's Tavern (the bar next to PBR). We appreciate the use of the trash room, OCN, and the reasonable recycling time. Thank you, by the way ,for your recycling efforts. I am closing this post.
Good night!
