I wrote to the roads department in East Nottingham about the paving job that was done about 5 years ago. The amount of asphalt that was installed raised the road on either side of the tracks. Also, the asphalt on my street, which is just off of Waterway, was raised up much higher than the newly paved road which caused me to bottom out when entering my drive. The roads department needs to be better.

Before Waterway was paved a few years ago, the tracks were level with the road. After Waterway was paved, the tracks are about a foot lower than the road. Why would they pave the road so much higher than the tracks?

Here is a good idea, SLOW DOWN. Way to many people go way over the posted speed limit.

I give up. Maybe folks don't know they have a voice or they just don't care.
