This situation continues...Most cars still go right thru the stop signs onto passaic Valley Road, or Changebridge without halting...Foremost Mountain and Tomalyn Hill Road are the two worst areas..Cars do not stop at the stop signs coming from Passaic onto Changebridge, or Foremost Mountain onto Passaic Valley....Rolling stops, or NOT stopping has not been changed...Also, many more people are speaking on their cell phones while driving even though your warnings of receiving tickets have been post on the outdoor road signs .....Unless expensive tickets are giving out, or points against the drivers license, all of these issues will continue and cause dangerous road conditions around Montville, Towaco, Pinebrook...

It is getting worse as the parents who drop their children off at St. Pius pull out without stopping at stop sign too on Changebridge. There is too much congestion and it should constantly be monitored by police during the rush hour in the mornings. Does anyone stop at any type of sign anymore...Stop sign? Yields? Also the traffic light at Changebridge and Horseneck during school hours is not timed the way it should be. Because of parents again dropping their kids off at school, it is hard to get to work on time dealing with a slow light to turn green and a wagon train of woman in their monstrous cars pulling out in front of people thinking they are entitled...

No...Its the same issue. No one stops at stop signs, they speed down Changebridge, or up Changebride, or down Passaic Valley and up Passaic Valley and one day, while I am walking my dog, I fear someone will hit me with their car. They are still on their cell phones, yapping away, going over the white line to other side of the road and THEY STILL DO NOT STOP OR YIELD AT A STOP SIGN OR RED LIGHT.....I find it happening more with SUV's, VANS,PICK UP TRUCKS AND TEENAGERS...

THis problem of cars pulling out onto changebridge road without stopping is continuing...The same dangerous problem exists with people not stopping at the bottom of Tomalyn Hill Road and pulling onto Passaic Valley...There is blind curve and a couple of accidents have already occurred. Also what I would reinforce in this township is stopping at red lights and then making the turn. A red light does not give the driver permission go right unless it clear for him to. There are too many rolling stops at stop signs and red lights. And most people do not heed the polices warning of not speaking on their cell phones while driving..Its amazing how many people still do this in their SUVs...and Vans....

Same old, same old. Except there are more people on their cell phones and driving 50 mph down changebridge road in the morning. Everyone is in a rush...so leave earlier!

Same issues...nothing changes..however the cell phone use and stopping at a stop sign to use the cell phone and not letter other continue to go around the people in car using their cell phone at stop or red lights is also hazardous. The use of cell phones has gotten worse and I dont see any form of laws being followed about their use while driving. People are still pulling out of stop signs and red lights thinking they have the right of way. Everyone is in a rush . Its dangerous and a stop sign no longer means stop and look, then go, and right turn on red has given carte blanche to most of these drivers to go right thru red lights.

These drivers are still going thru stop signs at end of my block, or not stopping at stop signs while driving out of any of the side streets, especially St. Pius when dropping their kids up or picking them up. Cell phone use is constant. There ARE NO CHANGES. If regular citizens could help the police out in this town some way in issuing summonses, it would help.

no changes. no one stops at signs..they go right thru..red light turn on red..right thru..Its happens all over the town. Not just on changebridge. I live on the corner of Passaic Valley Rd and Tomalyn HIll road in Montville. No one stops and looks to see if cars are coming..and if they do its a speeding rolling stop and the car plows right thru the stop sign. Red light at Changebride and Horseneck..unless there is a green arrow at the light, most cars plow thru red light going south onto Changebridge past the bank. Total disregard for other cars. At time one people would get tickets for rolling stops. And am tired of these cars right up my rear of my car when I traveling the speed limit if not 5 miles over.

nope..hasnt changed...getting worse..no ones uses their blinkers either to show other cars if they are turning left or right when pulling out. Route 202 near exit 287 should have a sign up saying alternate merge. Cars coming off 287 from the 2 lanes wont let others merge onto 202 because they were their first. AYE!!!!!!

new comment...the amount of traffic coming off of route 287 south onto route 202 at Montville Exit needs a sign that says alternate merge in big letters. There is so much traffic and honking of cars or cars getting angry in the left lane turn off although there is a right lane turn off too because the cars in left lane do not want the right to merge with them. This happening in front of the local police station which I am sure the police are aware of. However, this is never a police officer present to help with the situation. If there was one or two police officers to direct traffic and point to the sign which should be there in BOLD letters, maybe other drivers would have consideration to allow the cars in right lane to merge and there would not be so much congestion. It keeps getting worse!

Drivers are getting worse. They arent stopping at red lights now to make the right hand turn, they roll thru as they do stop signs or just run the stop sign. There are never any police around to give them tickets. When I was growing up a rolling stop was always given a ticket...and going thru the red light rolling should be a higher offense. Every one is in a rush and they do not obey the law when it comes to driving. Changebridge Road is the worst. Its 40mph and drivers are always on my tail, even if i go 45mph. This is what causes accidents. I dont see the law being enforced when it comes to these issues. This and cell phones cause major accidents.

this issue is still continuing...and the mothers who drop their kids off and pick them up at st. pius are in this big hurry to run the stop sign and get back onto passaic valley road in montville. Isnt there a law about running thru stop signs, red lights, not using ones car lights when its raining and windshield wipers are used. Why is it in this town, we cant park in the street when plows come around, or our mailmen need all these feet in front of our mailboxes, etc..or we can bet ticketed? It seems to me the public workers are the ones who benefit more than the people who pay taxes in this town from what laws choose to be enforced.
