Thank you for bring this issue to our attention. I spoke with our Public Works Roads Lead, he informed me they are aware of the damaged sign. It was hit by a truck and the support bracket was snapped. It is still attached to the pole by straps. Since it is on a round pole, they are waiting for the proper attachment bracket before they can complete the repair. Also since it is still attached to the pole and is not blocking either pedestrian travel or line of sight, it was decided to leave it in place as a directional sign.
Thank you again, I am closing this request as Public Works will repair the sign as soon as they obtain the proper attachment bracket.

I was just informed by the Sign Tech that they had obtained the right bracket for the sign and have reinstalled the sign.
