Sign placed too close to driveway. Bound to cause damage to a vehicle at some point.

The department inspected this sign to determine it's type. It is a construction sign, erected to warn drivers of roadwork being performed by the state. CTDOT has been informed of it's close proximity with the driveway.

SO, the sign is gone, but they left about 12 inches of sign post sticking up out of the ground. WTH?
