Description
Location is as close as I can place it - at the Derby Greenway overlook on the Naugatuck River, there is a well worn path up a small hill and onto the Metro North railroad bridge.
I've seen groups of young boys go up and down that multiple times. Not only are they riding on a trestle of an active rail line, there is no logical destination from there. They seem to be heading for the wooded area between the rail line and the lumber yard. Some investigation may be in order to see what the attraction is. Their "vibes" are saying "we're doing something we know is wrong"

I've seen people walking over the Housatonic train bridge to Shelton, but I doubt this is their entry point. After looking at the map, a better description of where I think they're heading is the triangle of land in the middle of Derby Junction. It's only the Metro North track still in active use. The land in between the tracks is wooded and mostly inaccessible - a great hiding place.
This issue was motivated by an "issue" in Ansonia where someone suggested adults keep an eye on where young people might be dealing or using drugs.
