The lane to turn left on forest needs a turn arrow, as during rush hour you have to sit through the light at least twice to turn left as the other side has a longer green and you can't turn left on red (obviously).

Just to clarify, it looks like you mean a left-turn arrow is needed traveling west on Fountain St. at the intersection with Forest Rd./Rte. 122, so that people turning south onto Forest can do so.
I completely agree! I try never to use that intersection for that reason, because it's impossible to negotiate that turn in under several lights' worth of time.
