Interesting. They should be required to pay taxes on the income because they didnt get a license . Will they get the fine for that? That is an illegal business, not just a parking offense. There is a fine for that for sure. Its the Commerce Dept that handles it. Its the same issue as when an antique store or a thrift store is also operating an unlicensed pawn shop.

From the city: "I had someone in the area today and they issued several summonses. He also photographed the area because one side of the street only has one sign so it is difficult to issue tickets along the entire street. We have forwarded the photographs to Patricia Logan, from Traffic and Engineering to have additional signs posted."

Never knew that this was "illegal" parking. There are of course signs now, but when there was no signage, it looked like it was fair game for parking a vehicle. There were even painted, albiet faded, lines for spots. Residents in this area always complain about scarce parking... why did they take this area away?

What is your objection to people parking here? If there are no signs and it is not being enforced, then great for all!
