Description

At the intersection of L and 23rd Streets NW, there is a sign indicating that the left lane is for left turn only. Drivers routinely go straight through this intersection.

Personally I don't think the sign even needs to be there, but the sign should either be taken down and the left turn arrow in the lane be removed) or the left turn only should be enforced.

I think the sign is there because street parking is allowed in that lane south of L Street (alongside One Washington Circle) before the afternoon rush hour. But during rush hour that lane is empty and many drivers go right through that intersection.
