Description

Heading south on Broadway (9 & 50) and making a right turn onto Rt 50 while there is the green arrow is going to cause a fatal accident. While this green arrow is lit, the traffic light for Southbound Rt 50 is green. Big trucks need to take a lot of the intersection to make the right onto 50 while the arrow is lit. Sooner or later there is going to be a collision with a vehicle making a left onto Broadway. I know I drive a truck for a living and have had to sit stopped numerous times at the green arrow and wait for traffic to clear to make my right turn. I am a local driver and know the pattern, but most truck drivers are not, and when they get the green arrow to turn right and swing wide into the intersection there will be a fatal accident with a driver turning left. This needs to be addressed. I was hoping with the recent intersection re construction it would've been fixed, but it has not.
