Description
A section of pavement adjacent to our driveway (which exits on Springfield) was repaired unsatisfactorily last December. The sub-base was pumping, but they spread the GAB directly on it, then paved. In less than 2 months the pavement was "alligatoring" from the weight of the garbage trucks when they swing over to that side of the street for our cans. About 500 sf (same as before) has heaved up and is being pushed over the curb. Before fixing next time, someone needs to tell the repair crew to undercut the wet/pumping sub-grade before dumping GAB in the hole. Thanks

Mr. Bartos,
I'm not sure if it was our department or DeKalb that repaired that section. Nevertheless, I will have one of our engineers go out to take a look at this and let you know what he finds.
