Description

A bunch of I/l bricks have been removed from a section of the sidewalk - there is a huge gap with a few cones 'warning' all of the pedestrians and strollers of the hazard - last week I emailed the warn out councillor from our ward and his group passed it on to 311 but alas - nothing has changed. Roncesvalles is a very busy street for pedestrians and why should we put up with unsafe situations in our n'hood? Last weekend an american tourist tripped on a similar hazard and after stiches he returned home (and spent less $$ here). Why is it that the company or city group that removed the bricks are not required to spend an hour replacing them before leaving? - if the job isn't finished they can replace the I/l bricks and remove them again whenever they choose to come back but we should not have to put up with this any longer. Thank-you
