The one family home at 210 Weybosset St has been vacant for more than 15 years. Since that time the owner has failed to maintain the property. At this point in time the house is partly painted yellow,green & part red, there's trash around the property, the fence is mostly gone, the grass is no less than 4 feet high, there is an old truck in the driveway, ect. Over the past 8 years the neighbors and the Alderman have complained about this property to the city LCI office. Sometimes the gass gets trimmed maybe once. But the owner has to be called every year more than once, to get the property cleaned. Some neighbors have gone so far as to cut the grass themselves.
It seems that LCI either doesn't want to take the needed action or for some reason they can't. Either way, the neighbors in this are really fed up with it and are ready to contact legal advice to take action against the city or the owner.
