Thanks for the arrests. But will they just be right back in a week or two? I hope you guys can nail them with as many charges as possible. So that the arrest has some bite and they will not be able or at least will have an ounce of fear of authority in the future.

I just saw a blue and white dirt bike on Foxon and eastern. Had never seen that kid before. White kid maybe 18, white t shirt. No helmet. Speeding, illegal right on red 6:45 pm

I see that kid ALL THE TIME up on Clifton and First. He spent hours in the park and racing up and down Clifton last week - and his bike is loud. Was just thinking how nice this weekend was, hope he is next up in the great sting the cops are doing.

If someone can get a picture or a video, it would be a huge help to identify which biker it is, as there are multiple ones with a blue/white bike. I know one was arrested this past week, but don't know if it's the same one that was seen on Foxon/Eastern.

I will be closing dirt bike/ATV complaints that pre-date the conclusion of the police undercover operation (see www.newhavenindependent.org/index.php/archives/entry/9_arrested_in_dirt_bike_sting/). I do not expect the dirt bike/ATV issue to be completely solved, but it will be helpful to policing efforts to distinguish new reports from those before this recent operation.

Please open up new SCF issues as dirt bike/ATV issues re-occur.
