Still tons on this street. There is a wall, it is a small street and it is filled. Looks awful NO one has come out. Darien, south of Washington Ave, just off Washington Ave. Between 8th and 9th. Think the sign says 1100 Darien. Small street that connects to Alter 800 block.

311 WILL paint out and remove graffiti IF, and only IF, you provide EXACT location including exact address, which wall/surface/side of building etc; they also request to know what surface they are going to fix (paint, brick, stucco, wood, other, i.e. glass etc). I'll call or fill out a claim with them but it isn't a specific address. It is more than half a long wall. I don't have a specific address aside from 1100 south darien.

Hi Pearlgrl: I'll add this block to our Neighborhood Ambassador listserve and ask if our neighbors can do a 311 campaign. While tedious, if you use a smartphone to take a picture and identify the locations (opening several claims for several addresses), 311 does a pretty good job. I'll try to take a walk out there tonight and take some photos. As an aside, I see that you are really active in identifying problems in our neighborhood and I'd love to grab a drink with you sometime to see how we can get you more involved in the civic association.

That sounds like a great idea. The graffiti is hidden by some trees on the block. Thanks for your suggestions! I'd love to meet up. I used to be active in the PSCA when I first moved in.
