Description
Light for cars going north on DeKalb at Lafayette turns green and the light and DeKalb and Main turns red almost at the same time. This means cars reaching Main have to stop while the light at Lafayette is still green. Cars overflow into the intersection at Lafayette. Both lights should stay green at the same time to allow the traffic coming from Bridgeport to flow thru the main street intersection.

I agree that this needs to be looked at, traffic impact studies have been conducted for the Lafayette Street Corridor project. I don't think anything is scheduled for this end of the project until 2012. This would be an immediate fix, along with the turning lane lines onto Lafayette street from the bridge.
