This is still an problem that has not been commented on or addressed by the city. These tall and sharp-edged lumps in the pavement are a real hazard to pedestrians and cyclists, particularly at night.
This issue was reported nearly a year ago, and still has not been addressed. This location and a number of other large bumps on Treat Ave pose a safety threat to cyclists.
This is a pretty good example of a pothole/seam/raised bump combination that is a serious hazard to cyclists. I'm going to ask a construction engineer friend how Treat got such bad pavement. I am astonished by these strange lumps and elevated bumps in the road. I've lived in a lot of different climates and regions, and have never seen pavement as bad as central Tucson.
I agree these bumps are terrible! They are a hazard to cyclists and to runners, I wish the city would take care of these already. Thank you for posting these.
