Description

I live in public housing. On the floors with smokers, the air in the halls smells like the air in smoking compartments on the trains of old. It also sometimes pentrates into apartments near the smoker's. I suggest that when future tenants sign their leases that they be warned whether or not a building is smoking. A sign on the first floor should warn of the dangers of second hand smoke.
If all buildings cannot have such leases, at least let the senior citizens, 62 or older be warned that a smoker can move next to this apartment.
I covered this issue in a letter to the St. Paul. Pioneer Press.
