My company, located in the Spring Valley Industrial Park has sent communication to PennDot, our congressman, Concord Twp. and the State Police in 1998, 2004 and 2009. Yesterday was even a closer call. The light turned green for Station Road and Fellowship Road and red for 322. The car exiting Fellowship Dr. and me exiting Station Rd. hesitated and then seeing no traffic started to inch our way out. Then we hear a noise like a train whistle....we stop...and a very large dump truck full with a load came tearing through the red light blowing his horn and waving his arms. He hadn't even tried to apply his brakes. There is a proposed development being planned for the next street (Spring Valley Road), adding more traffic. WHY, WHY, WHY... CAN'T THERE JUST BE A DELAY ON THE CHANGING OF THE LIGHTS. SUCH A SIMPLE THING TO DO. PARENTS OF GVSD CHILDREN...BUSES TURN FROM STATION....JOIN IN THE CAMPAIGN TO GET A TIMER AT THIS LIGHT.

Five years later and still no delay on light. But all the authorities have no problem in issuing building permits for RedStone Apts., Towne Center homes, and a new hotel right at that intersection. Hundreds of more cars to be in this area and no proper delay on the traffic light. Irresponsible!

A simple delay on light... that's all it would take. It's five years later and a hotel is being built at the light and increased traffic from RedStone and pojo is correct. If it's a state road, then the twp has a responsibility to work with them on this. I think it is time for a t.v. reporter to set up a camera and count the number of vehicles speeding through a red light. This happens every day. Yesterday, a large loaded dump truck sped through the red light and as I so often witness, a car was so close to the truck's bumper that the driver had no idea that he was going through the red light on the tail of the truck. This is just unacceptable. I say call in one of the Philly news stations. Anyone?
