These redundant signs are a complete waste of taxpayer money. There are already lines painted on the street for crosswalkers in addition to the signs posted on the sides of roads. Most walkers in New Haven illegally jaywalk across the street anyway. Stop wasting valuable resour$es on this nonsense!

in short - if you could provide any evidence that these are not bringing average traffic speeds down, that would be helpful. this is a great use of taxpayer money and increases the walkability of our fair city.terrific. the average speeds have decreased and the amount of space
