Why don't they put the letter drop box in the first entrance to the post office parking lot? The angle is better to pull right up to the box. The second entrance is a 'u' shape and cars have such a tough time getting close enough to the box. I have actually seen people try to get out of their cars so they can reach it. It is a very poor design and the switch makes more sense.

This can not be fixed by the town or State. So, why put a complaint here. The Post Office is owned by the Federal Government, and only they can make any changes.

I agree Poor Design,I've scraped my poor tires up & few day's ago I'm Not tall & all my letters went all over the ground & I'm disabled and wasn't too happy,Lower it & Move it Off a Corner..........

It is a Major PAIN trying to Mail letters,one day I didn't get close enough I didn't wanna ruin my new tires & all my mail fell on ground & my arms are not 7' long & I had to try & get out of my car to get them & being disabled it wasn't much fun I can tell yah,whoever planned that wasn't thinking must be a truck owner that box is pretty high & my car is too low to comfortably;y mail my letters,if I only had a Mailman who could take my mail & get it where it belongs I'd be all set but they can't seem to do that so the only way to make sure is waste my time,gas & do it myself..
