Why does anyone have to sit at a red light at 11:30/midnight in Milford on Cherry Street so that people can exit the shopping center. There isn't any traffic!!! This is pointless. West Haven has the ability to adjust thier traffic lights to red/yellow flash during the night. Why can't Milford do this?

The 2 traffic lights on Cherry St in front of the Cherry St. Shopping Center are ancient. They need to be updated to use modern traffic sensors, allow right green arrows exiting the shopping center and go to flashing at night when there are no stores open.

This one is a no-brainer. Does anyone with pull even monitor these threads?

Also there is like a 40 second interval where nobody has a green light. These lights definitely need to be updated.

Has anyone heard of any issues actually being addressed because of postings on this website? This particular issue has been up for 3 1/2 years, and the Cherry Street traffic lights are still turning green for nonexistent midnight shoppers. Why do we even bother with this? Just to let off some steam? I think this futile complaining is making me even more mad about the stupidity of sitting at a traffic light in front of a shopping center at 11:30pm.

Yes! And put a light at Corona Drive!
