Description
This bridge has been out for almost 20 years. I live on a 1 way street just before this bridge and my street becomes a race way for police fire ambulance school buses, you name it. Once they find out that the bridge is out they all come down the street the WRONG WAY.......... Only the residents of this street do 25 everyone else does at least 40. The township refuses to fix our street from wear and tear due to excessive travel on it.

I don't live in Folcroft but have been affected by this. I wonder why they aren't fixing it? Do they intend to just leave it out permanently?

I agree, please fix this bridge. I live on Primos Ave. and all traffic is forced to use my street to get through to Chester Pike from Delmar Drive. Rush hour you cannot even cross the street to get to your neighbor's. What about children trying to cross the street coming home from school and after school activities.

This bridge was way too dangerous... it was/is too narrow; if two cars passed each other there was less than a foot between them.
In any case I believe this was a SEPTA/AmTrak project that ran out of funding then forgotten about after the sharon ave and primos bridges were completed.

They really do need to get this fixed. It's not fair to the people who live there that pay taxes just to look at that eyesore
