Description

1A is part of the Seacoast Greenway. It is also a part of the "New Castle" loop used by scores of cyclists and runners on any given day. As cyclists travel towards New Castle the road narrows just past the marinas as it goes up the hill towards the Ice House. This is a busy stretch of road in the summer due to the Ice House and Wentworth Golf Course.
