This road is in serious need of repair. If you notify the town that the road runs through of damage sustained to your car from repeatedly driving this route (alingement, damage to tires, etc) and that in future any damage cost will be sent to the town for reimbursment. You just may see this road repaved.

CDTC’s solicitation for candidate projects resulted in the submission of $500 million worth of proposed work from State and Local transportation agencies in the CDTC area . Unfortunately the anticipated available funding was $100 million. While NYSDOT ranked the project high on our priority list CDTC used its rating system to determine need and priority. The Rt. 378 project was ultimately ranked quite low by the committee and was not funded.

NYS DOT submitted this and as you can see it was declined

The section of 378 from littles lake east to the troy bridge is a discrace and a driving hazard. There is a bump every fifty feet that will jar your fillings and damage your car. This problem has existed to long and must be addressed as soon as possible

Because it is being ignored and obviously I as well as the other individuals have wasted their time in trying to be heard. NO ONE has provided an explanation that makes one bit of sense much less is the truth as to why this road has been left in the condition it is in for at the VERY LEAST 10 years, and from what I've been told by others much longer than that.
