Description

Help us with our fight for clean air, soil and water in our neighborhood. Town oversight for over 50 years or more.Did the inaction by both the town and state of TCE contamination spills just delay the enivitable at the expense of us who live, play and work in the area? Imagine learning that your home might be poisoned by cancer-causing substances and then being told that you can't see the results for weeks. The uncertainty is unnerving. Dangerously high levels were found alomost 2 years ago in our wells and the town and state have done the bare minimum to correct this. They installed a GAC filtration system that only solves one of many problems. This toxic, carcinogen chemical is trapped in our soil and migrates through our well water and will continue to do so if left unabated. We need to have soil and vapor testing done. By not doing any further testing it leaves open the possibility that TCE vapors are in our homes and in our soil.
