The MWRA and its Contractor Barletta Heavy Division is Continuing its work in Waltham to Upgrade the Water System by Installing Pressure Reducing Valves at 5 Locations. These 5 Locations are....
#1 South Street @ the Ceaderwood Pumping .
#2 Prospect Hill Road @ Lunda Street
#3 Bacon Street @ Leary Field
#4 Beaver Street @ Lexington Street
#5 Trapelo Road @ Manning Road
Work Began in July 2010 and will Continue through the Fall. The Project is Part of the Massive Hultman Aqueduct Rehabilitation Project.

ALERT: BACON STREET WILL BE CLOSED BETWEEN DALE STREET AND ATHLETIC FIELD ROAD FROM MONDAY AUGUST 23RD THRU FRIDAY AUGUST 27TH. WORK WILL BE FROM 9AM TO 4PM. EXPECT DELAYS AND SEEK ALTERNATE ROUTES.
Construction work at the Intersection of Beaver Street & Lexington Street is Also Continuing.
