On the 17th street overpass headed eastbound, the bike lane suddenly stops without warning, and becomes a right turn lane onto Spring St. Cyclists unaware of this road feature could easily be hit or run off the road by cars suddenly in their lane, turning right.

TO safely cycle through the intersection of 17th and Spring, you must leave the bike lane before it ends and merge into car traffic to avoid being cut off at the intersection.

Bike lane needs warning sign "Bike Lane Ends, Merge Into Traffic" - at the very least.
