Description

This problem is regarding two missing bus shelters at the intersection of McCowan Road and Lawence Avenue East. The bus is heading northbound and southbound on McCowan Rd. towards the Scarbourough Town Center.(McCowan 16 Bus) and towards Warden Station (McCowan 16 Bus) respectively.
The Bus Shelters have been missing since the end of February this year (2013).
This is a very busy route given that the Scarborough General Hospital is just across the road, various other smaller apartments, banks and businesses nearby. There is a lot of pedestrian traffic near these bus stop.
This may seem like a miner matter, but for those of us who use the TTC a bus shelter is a critical item, especially in the rainy spring months and in the coming heat of summer.
Many past fellow riders I know have decided on driving, rather then taking the bus becasue of this issue. Thus the TTC is loosing riders because of a easily fixable problem.
I hope new bus shelters can be installed fairly quickly, before alot of those riders become permanent car drivers.
Thankyou for the time and opportunity to bring this issue to your knowledge.
It will be greatly appreciated when the new bus shelters will be in place soon.

Thankyou again.
