Unfortunately the shelter is not enough.

When the bench is against the wall people tend to sit at both the bus stop and the bench. When the bench is not there everyone seems to still sit in our door. Its a bizarre dynamic which ought to be studied by a social psychologist someday. For now I think we are still interested in working with the landlord to provde a piece of street furniture for the increasing number of bus-goers.

We are trying to delineate issues that are current and need the city's attention to resolve. Any issues prior to 2013 are being closed. If your issue remains and needs to be addressed by the city, please either re-open or open as a new See Click Fix issue. Thanks.

This is still a problem as the entrance to our building is still blocked by bus-goers.

I still think this is a good idea but I am closing it as we are no longer the tenants at this building that are effected. New tenants and bus goers should reopen if they feel it would be useful to have a bench on the building.
